Creative Pursuits (EL2)

You will need

Please ensure that you are following safe distancing guidelines.


1. Lead a discussion in your cohort with everyone’s findings from the level 1 activity.
– Every member will present their findings
– Vote and decide on one form of performance

Plan and design a timeline for practice/rehearsals of selected performance/activity

Details should include but not limited to:
– Roles to be delegated (i.e Musician, conductor, music producer)
– Duration of each practice/rehearsal session


  • 1i. Does leading an activity over online platforms difficult to control?
  • 1ii. Were there any difficulties faced while coordinating with your patrol?
  • 1iii. Are there any lessons that you can take away from leading this particular activity? If yes, why? If no, why not?

    Scouts will be able to work together as a cohort and takes initiative in leading the discussion.
  • Intellectual Development
    Scouts will be able to expand their knowledge through the discussion and presentation of their fellow cohort views.
  • Character Development
    Scouts will be able to develop critical awareness of the performance that they will be executing.
  • Emotional Development
    Scouts will be able to express their thoughts and feelings through the discussion within the cohort.

Activity Counts Towards

1. Play a leading role in ONE of the following activities:-

Perform in front of an audience.


Create a collaborative artistic pieces.


Problem solving activity which require critical and creative thinking, effective teamwork and communication, time management and problem solving.
